Alex Guarnaschelli

Guarnaschelli, Maria Guarnaschelli's daughter is a cookbook editor. Barnard College awarded her a master's degree in art history in the year 1991. She worked at the American Place restaurant for one year for the lowest wage in the year 1991 through 1991. Guarnaschelli began her culinary journey when she watched her mother cook and editing cookbooks. Guarnaschelli interned under Larry Forgione (whose son is Iron Chef Marc Forgione), and afterwards at several restaurants in France, New York and Los Angeles, including Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. Prior to becoming part of Butter as their executive chef, Guarnaschelli worked as a chef for Daniel Boulud at his eponymous restaurant. She served as executive chef of the Darby restaurant before its closing. She is chair of the Museum of Food and Drink's Culinary Council. Guarnaschelli published her first cookbook in the year 2013. "Old-School Comfort Food The Way I learned to Cook" mixes autobiographical details with favourite recipes of her professional career which she modified for her kitchen at home. Alex Alex Alex
